Bead Stringing: Beading Q And A (9/23/2011)
Sandy asks…
What is the name of those religious bead necklaces?
I just need to know. It is those beads with a string through them that you count with your fingers as you say a religious word over and over or something.
BeadGal answers:
Those are called a rosary.
Susan asks…
How do I incorporate knotting into stringing beads?
Please tell me the details.
BeadGal answers:
I think you are talking about the knots between each bead in a string of pearls. Here are a couple of tutorials, with pictures and/or videos, to get you started:

Betty asks…
How do you bead a dress?
I want to bead a dress. I am not sure how to go about it. I have read that you string 3-5 beads, put the needle through the fabric, pull it back out, go through the beads, and then move on to your next 3-5. Is this correct?
BeadGal answers:
It sounds right the way you want to do this. However, I would keep the bead count to three. Also keep your tension as even as possible. I would love to see how this works out for you. I found this link for you, read it through and give it a shot.

Before you jump into doing it, if you have never done it before, surf the internet and search for “sewing beads to fabric” or “bead embroidery”.
