Crochet Spot » Crochet Pattern: Beaded Bangles …

Essentially, this is a pattern for covering a bracelet with crochet. I used parts from an automotive (my Dad’s a mechanic) but you can use a plain bracelet from the craft store. The stitch count my vary, especially if you choose a band that is smaller in diameter than mine, but the basic idea is to single crochet around the band until you are satisfied, adding your choice of beads at even intervals.

Of course when my daughters saw my medallion beaded earringsthey wanted a pair of their own. I should know by now that I should just make three of everything. For them I envisioned a pair that was smaller and daintier. I basically followed the same pattern as for mine, except I only worked the first round. I think they came out perfect!
Bead Crochet 101: Winding Lane Bracelets
http://mrsmicawber.blogspot.comWed, 11 May 2011 01:24:00 GMT
Winding Lane Bracelets are quick to make, and a perfect project for novice bead crocheters. They’re based on a fun new technique I call Forward Loop Chain, which gives texture and stability to the wavy scallops, and a decorative edge that looks good from both sides – making the bracelets fully reversible.

When I found a pattern for the snake, I knew I would have to make it. It didn’t even look like a beaded crochet rope, more like a real snake. It took some time though to make it… Stringing the beads though was a nightmare, and this is what was stopping me from finishing it sooner. Over 9300 beads, tiny 15/o beads, have been used for this project.
Cellphone Charm With Crochet Covered Bead Tutorial …

This charm I came up with has a large bead covered with crocheted net where the bead underneath is still visible. You can vary the bead style with the bead finish and yarn color. If you attach a lobster clasp to it, you can easily unfasten it and replace it with another charm. Or why not use it as a pendant in a cord?
