Spiral Earrings. That’s my last creation! It’s a very simple pattern: the spiral rope. I’m finishing the video tutorial for it. The materials I used: – seed beads sizes 8/0, 11/0, and 15/0; – bicone crystals 4mm; – drop beads 8x12mm;

There are two sets of beads in spiral rope, the core beads and the outer beads. The core beads run through the centre of the rope, these are usually the same colour and size throughout. The outer beads spiral around the core beads and can be one colour and bead type or a combination of several. You can achieve a multitude of different effects simply by changing the combination of colours, sizes and types of beads you use.

Plus, if you haven’t already noticed from my experiments with beaded DNA, I have a special place in my …

Her pattern on page 26 is a new twist on spiral rope: a reversible bracelet. Advertised as a “stitcher’s delight”, I have to agree 100%. Back in 2007, you couldn’t get me to look at a seed bead and now I can’t get enough of them.
