This time I have used tropical colored seed beads to create these really pretty bracelets. I like to mix and match my bracelets and these look great worn together, but if you like to keep things simple, one individual bracelet looks fab too. Even though this tutorial has many steps, I promise it’s really easy! Once you’ve made your first bracelet and got the hang of it, it’s gonna be hard to stop reaching a full on arm party.
Make This Quick Bracelet with Two-holed Seed Beads

This bracelet making project is a great exercise in keeping your tension snug and even. Making multiple passes through each set of beads will give the finished bracelet strength and flexibility, and because it works up so fast (in about two hours), you’ll want to make one for everyone on your holiday gift list. After I made the first two versions of this bracelet making project with SuperDuo two-holed seed beads, I used some copper-lined Twins with copper metallic round druks. Because the Twins aren’t as consistent in shape as the SuperDuos, the bracelet had a much softer, more organic feel to it.

Of course, these Christmas Lights bracelets couldn’t be easier to make (that’s why we’re making them for our Simply Homemade series, you know). All you need to do this project is elastic thread and silver-lined seed beads, the kind you can get at the craft store for next to nothing.
I also chose two accent beads: faceted, silver beads and larger, multi-colored seed beads–the exact same seed beads as the others, only larger. You can see them in the blurry picture below (no, it’s not your eyes)

Bead a Rope with 2-hole Super Duo or Twin seed beads …

If the number of 2-hole seed-bead project submissions the Beadwork team has been getting is any indication, the Super Duo/Twin craze is reaching a fever pitch with beaders. From flower shapes to right-angle weave bands, herringbone-stitched strips to bezeled rivolis, designers are incorporating these uniquely shaped beads into every type of beading stitch and structure. So maybe that’s why I woke up this morning thinking, “What about 2-hole beaded ropes?” Honoring that first thought of the day, I got out my Super Duos and did a little tubular peyote-stitching to form this interesting rope.
