This superduo bracelet tutorial features the herringbone beading weave. Right now, the Czech Superduo beads are all the rage, but what can you do with them? They are two-holed beads, so they can’t be used in traditional weaves. Or can they? This bracelet shows that the herringbone weave for beading can quite nicely accommodate the new 2-hole beads. What’s more, it works up very quickly, especially when done 2 beads across.

From flower shapes to right-angle weave bands, herringbone-stitched strips to bezeled rivolis, designers are incorporating these uniquely shaped beads into every type of beading stitch and structure. So maybe that’s why I woke up this morning thinking, “What about 2-hole beaded ropes?”

This simple and beautiful earring is designed by Nunzia Scalpore. She is Italian and has a channel on YouTube with a lot of amazing tutorials. The videos are in Italian, but I think it’s pretty easy understand the pattern because she shows in the video everything you need to do. It’s a good pattern for beginners and you can find the tutorial here.

So I wanted to try the new super duo beads and I loved this pattern for a pendant by Ellad2. I finished it last night and I love it – it is for me for a change and the color is just perfect. I bought a few other colors and will be making some more pendants for some friends. I think now that I have this first pendant under my belt the next will be easier.

I added more rules about sharing my tutorials and I have to rewrite it again if I can think of additional rules to add. It’s to protect my copyrights. It came to my attention lately that some of my tutorials were stolen to post in other website (Chinese biggest beads supplier you all know) without my permission and all my watermarks also were removed. I already deal with the website, my tutorials were removed and got the apology letter.

I made up this rope of Super Duo Seed Beads and love, love, love the way it lays on the neck! I am so loving it! I got the pattern finished two or three months ago and found there is no limit to the wonderful rings one can put on this lovely piece!
