Free Bead Crochet Tutorials (3/3/2014)
I have never knitted or crocheted (and never really wanted to). I only tried Bead Crochet once, using wire, very early on in my beading “career”. But for those of you who love it, I’ve found some fun tutorials today. If you want to try it, the very first one looks like a great beginner tutorial, using huge pony beads (at least to us seed beaders, the are humongous).

Bead crochet is not the easiest technique to master, I had to make quite a few ropes before I was pleased with the results. For this reason, I have chosen to gear these instructions to the beginner, and so you will find that the materials listed are larger in size. But once you become familiar with thte technique, you can start experimenting with different size and shape beads, and even different threads.

This classic wire crochet necklace is easy to learn, quick to create and is easily customizable! Vary the colors and materials of the beads, or the umber of strands, to make this look totally your own.

Have you ever wondered how crochet beads are made? You know what I’m talking about. You’ve probably seen them in department stores, adoring boho necklaces like our teething necklace. But they’re so easy! All you need is some wooden beads, a size 2.75mm crochet hook, and some sock-weight yarn or embroidery floss.

I’ve been working on several pairs of earrings using 3mm seed beads to add a little extra pizzazz to my creations. Whether it be for jewelry, scarves, or an afghan, we want our work to stand out. From embellishments to edging patterns, there are so many things to add to your crochet work.

If you have ever wondered how to add beads to your crochet work, whether it is for jewelry or just to dress up a scarf, check out this tutorial. I will show you how to add beads with a single crochet stitch. Use this technique to create one of a kind jewelry with crochet thread. You can add beads to a lacy scarf for a feminine touch or even in fringe. Next week I will teach you how to do the double crochet stitch with beads.
