Beaded Bracelet And Earrings With Half Tilas …

Unfortunately this tutorial is not suitable for beginners. It’s necessary that you have some experience with beadwork to understand all the steps to create the components and specially to understand how to assemble the bracelet. As you can see in the picture below, the components have five sides. So to create the bracelet you must connect them in a zigzag way, to keep the bracelet straight. I recommend you place the components on a table and arrange them in the correct position before you start to assemble the bracelet.

If you recall, I posted about my sample of this bracelet on March 20th HERE. When I found the “Crystal Pink Luster” SuperDuo beads at Aria Design Studio on Etsy, I thought that they’d be perfect for making a bracelet to go with the my “Layered Tila Earrings”. They are very close to the same color as the fire polished beads in the earrings. The bracelet pattern is my friend Teejay’s creation. When I have a chance, I will write up a tutorial and post it here on my blog.

After making the “Trestle Band”, I got the crazy idea to make a second one so that she could “stack” them. However, I wanted to use magnet clasps on them and I didn’t think stacking would work well with magnets. That’s when I came up with the idea to permanently connect the two bands together so that they only used one clasp for both. Surprisingly, it worked quite well using a couple sizes of jump rings to connect everything.
