Still not tired of SuperDuo and other two-hole bead patterns? Me neither. I can’t believe how inventive so many bead artists are. But after I do the pattern, I always wonder why I didn’t think of how to use them. You’d think we would figure it out by now, but everyone seems to look at new beads in their own unique way.

Here is one last “Marquesa” set. This time I decided to make one of Deborah Roberti’s bracelet patterns that I hadn’t tried yet. Her “Flutter Bracelet” has just the right combination of beads to work with the colors I used in the earrings. It has SuperDuos and you can use any combination of 3mm and 4mm beads such as druks, bicones or fire polished, etc. I just happen to have some 4mm bicones about the same color as the rivolis that I used in the earrings so I used those as the base color.

I made this bracelet by adapting a necklace pattern by Cynthia Newcomer Daniel at JewelryTales.com. I simply omitted the connectors between the motifs and added some loops on the ends for my clasp. I added an 8/0 seed bead on each end for attaching the jump rings. The pattern calls for 11/0 seed beads between the motifs but I’ve found that 3mm druks or pearls also work quite well.
