Wire Jewelry Tutorials (7/24/2015)
I really appreciate the talent involved in making wire jewelry. I found I don’t have the patience to work with wire, especially square and half-round. I can, however, sewing tiny seed beads together with thread and needle and never run out of patience. But, I always appreciate my wire experiences, so I’m not stuck when a project involves some wire techniques.

Here’s a different kind of wire pendant that’s fun to create. It involves making wire shapes and arranging them into a pleasing design or picture in a jewelry photo frame. Most wire pendants use the wire as a three-dimensional structure or sculpture. But in this project we’ll use the wire as lines to create flat art inside a frame.

I did some experimenting today and played with wires. I love to coil LOL and so I tried to create a bangle. Here’s what it looks like! I cut out 8 inches 18ga wire and started coiling directly from a 28ga wire. Keep coiling until the end of the wire and you will have this. Make at least 3 sets of coiled wires.
