For you bead loomers, here are some new bead looming patterns I found. Seems we think of looming as an American Indian art, but there are so many things you can do that look modern and unique.
Bead Loom Bracelet Pattern
This is my first Loom Bracelet Pattern and it’s FREE! Pattern is designed for loom, but you can also use square stitch. Pattern does NOT include instruction – how to do Loom or Square Stitch. Pattern is PDF format and includes: The pattern design, Bead chart and Bead Legend, and Word chart.

French Beaded Flower Tutorials (1/26/2016)
After viewing these tutorials on French Beaded Flowers, I am going to have to give this a try. I like being to make things that aren’t jewelry sometimes, so I can admire them all the time instead of just when I am wearing them.
French Beaded Tree
Here are some generalized instructions on making a beaded tree. This is not a pattern, per se, because each tree should be constructed to reflect nature. When you decide to make a tree, look at real trees to determine their shape and form. Willow trees, for example, rise in thick branches from the centre, then drape down in many thin branches with long leaves.

For making French bead flowers, you also must learn excellent technique. And, in my opinion, what is the one most important technique in this art? Rule # 1 – Keep your basic wire straight. It sounds so simple, doesn’t it? Of course you will keep your basic wire straight, you say. Easiest thing in the world, isn’t it? You might be surprised. For someone new to the art, this can be a challenge.

Make a classy looking, multi-strand bracelet using Tila Beads, Swarovski Crystals and Delicas. You could easily use pearls or fire-polished to replace the crystal. Fire Mountain Gems has a great resource section with all sorts of free patterns and instructions.
3D beading can be a challenging, but it is a beading skill that you will be happy you learned. Not everyone wears jewelry, but who wouldn’t want a 3D beaded version of their favorite animal, hobby or object?
